Rejuvenation has almost 200 employees representing almost 20 countries in its three stores and one manufacturing facility. We're known for obsessing over the details of history, design, and manufacturing, and some of us play a mean game of ping-pong.

What have you learned at Rejuvenation?

When I first started, I was told I'd never again enter a building without immediately looking up at the lighting. I didn't believe it, but it’s true! The cool thing is, now I often know the history of the lights I see, and can regale friends with little known facts. They love that.

What have you learned at Rejuvenation?

Do you have a motto?

"I reserve the right to get smarter." There may not be any do-overs in life, but there are plenty of try-agains. If you want to make a difference, you have to try something, anything. Not making a decision is not a good decision. I know I don’t always have the right answer the first time, but I think you have to try something, anything, to make a difference. Not making a decision is not a good decision. Most situations are trial and error. If I do something wrong, well, I have learned something new, and you can bet I will try it differently next time. By the way, I might still be wrong next time, but I am getting smarter!

Who most inspires you?

My daughter. She is not a baby anymore, but this is one of my favorites. For my wife and I, she truly is our muse and inspiration. I carry that inspiration everywhere, and particularly Rejuvenation. Not only striving for success, but to excel, for her benefit and as example in wellness, work ethic, and creative living.

What's your favorite fixture we make?

I was about thirty minutes into my first day at Rejuvenation when I realized I had to have a Jantzen fixture in my living room. I love the look of it, and with three 75W bulbs and a dimmer switch, it always gives off the perfect amount of light. I keep it low when I'm playing video games, or crank it up when I'm reading a book. Its indirect light turned my dark, shadowy living room into a bright and welcoming space. Of course then I had to switch out my door hardware for Jenkins door sets. It's a slippery slope!
