Blairmont fixture in Arciform office

ArciformRejuvenation Customer

It's customers like Richard and Anne DeWolf that gives us the goose bumps (in a good way).

This progressive, visionary couple owns Arciform, a design/build company that specializes in the restoration and remodel of historic and vintage pre-World War II homes.

Arciform goes the distance to honor their older home projects. Customers have access to their workshop that produces custom cabinetry and architectural details. The firm also likes to work with materials that were popular during the time a house was built. That includes tile, wood, cork, and some very interesting uses of retro Linoleum. Arciform has also ventured into the use of environmentally-friendly materials, including bamboo.

Their stylish, fresh office is located on a former "brownfield" site. That means that the land was previously used for industrial purposes and may be contaminated by low concentrations of hazardous waste or pollution. However, a brownfield has the potential to be reused once it's cleaned up -- which is exactly what Arciform did. In true Portland style, this dynamic couple embraced the urban renewal challenge and built an attractive "green" office building, winning a sustainability award from the city along the way.
