We first met Jess and Jered Bogli when they were restoring a classic 20th-century bungalow.

Years later, when they discovered a crumbling ranch house atop a sound foundation, they saw an opportunity to step into 21st century life. Now, a stunning modern home anchors the Boglis (and their dog, Oliver) firmly in the present tense.

Modern Living in Retro Style

Attracted to the clean and understated lines of our Modern America lighting, Jess and Jered installed a pair of Cerise mid-century fixtures above their kitchen island - a spot where multiple pendants can be as practical as they are pretty.

Eco-friendly & Innovative

These fixtures look cool in an eclectic, modern home that was built with efficiency and conservation in mind.

Inside, recycled blue jeans insulate the walls, and large windows let natural light warm the FSC-certified wood floors. Concrete kitchen counter tops were poured on-site to minimize waste.

Outside, native plants absorb rain and moderate house temperatures on the literally green roof. Permeable driveway pavers keep runoff out of the river, and solar panels heat the home up to ten months of the year.
