Rejuvenation Customer: Christine Bouma
February, 2008
Christine is a committed resident of California Heights, a historic Southern California neighborhood known for its superb collection of Spanish Colonial Revival homes.
Christine has lived in not one but two houses in the area, and her current home is a true gem. Built in 1936, the house had only been owned by one family prior to the Bouma's and has escaped any remodeling or "improvements" for 70 years.
To score her dream house, Christine cruised past it almost daily for three years, until one day it went on the market, and she had the chance to make it hers. Now, she calls it home along with her husband and two young sons. It was worth the wait, because according to Christine, "I live in a work of art."
