Betty Gets a Room

When Angie Clark, a graphic designer, realized she needed more room, she decided to include a little history in the design. She built a garden studio where she works in tandem with Betty, her 1890s letterpress.

A Very Civil Union

Indoors, Angie wanted a light that complemented Betty's old-fashioned elegance, and she chose the Dana, a lean Period Basics pendant whose industrial chic qualities match Betty's aesthetically pleasing mechanical attributes.

Just outside her studio, Angie installed the Otis, a mid-century modern porch light from our Modern America collection.

Works Like a Charm

In this charming studio space, Angie and Betty the Letterpress create lovely, whimsical designs for invitations, greeting cards, and business cards. Says Angie, "I really enjoy the process of printing - working with my hands to produce a tactile piece. It is gratifying work."

We relate to Angie's take on new-meets-old, and how it results in things of hand-crafted beauty.
