Jim Heuer and Robert Mercer love researching old houses. So after they purchased their Emil Schacht-designed 1906 Arts & Crafts home (shown here and here), they searched out other houses he had built. Then they decided to write a few of these homeowners, inviting them to a little get-together. Not knowing what to expect, they were surprised when their phone began ringing off the hook. They ended up with the owners of over 50 Schacht houses at their party.

We were especially pleased when they reported to us that every room in their house has at least one item from Rejuvenation in it — we hope Emil would approve.
