Drew Nasto & Denise BarteltRejuvenation Customer

Drew Nasto and Denise Bartelt had to look past bad landscaping, bad wallpaper, and a bad kitchen remodel (circa 1979) to see the good bones of their 1907 Craftsman-meets-Foursquare house. Pocket doors, wood mouldings, and wide eaves over a gracious porch provided a glimpse of their home's original beauty, so they took the plunge.

According to Denise, it wasn't hard to do, since she and her husband have a shared sense of design. (Denise is convinced their similar tastes were shaped during childhood, long before they met. While dating, they discovered they grew up with the same sectional sofa and the same dishware.) So, when it came time to rip out the "remuddled" kitchen, they were already in synch. See the results for yourself.
