Victorian 1870 – 1915

While the Victorian fondness for ornament defines the era’s lighting, the technology of the day drove basic fixture designs. Until about 1910, light sources were dim gas burners and carbon-filament bulbs. That meant fixtures needed multiple arms and delicate shades that spread the glow. Luckily, those elements make the lights in our Victorian Collection singularly pretty and charming.
