Bare-bulb fixtures like the Burlington were once a status symbol, allowing early adopters to show off the warm glow of their newfangled electric lights. Nowadays they are a handsome accent for a space served by the soft light of globe or reproduction bulbs. The Burlington may be small in scale, but with such detailed parts cast in solid brass, it makes for a substantial Neoclassical light.

Acanthus plants with their spiky leaves and scrolling growth were a common element in Greek and Roman design. This motif was again used in Neoclassical and Colonial Revival lighting styles during in the first half of the 20th century, adding visual interest to otherwise straightforward designs.

  • Solid brass parts
  • 12 hand-applied finishes
  • Bare bulb fixtures are designed to be used with exposed carbon-filament or globe-shaped bulbs.
  • Items ending in $0.99 are final sale

Reproduction light bulbs give off a soft glow, providing mood lighting rather than task lighting.
