Description
The Cascade's substantial body, coupled with the mirrored effect of gas and electric shades pointing up and down, give this fixture an impressive presence in your den or dining room.
Early American homes were lit by gas, and when electricity came on the scene, fixtures were designed to use both technologies. Gas would be used for day-to-day lighting needs, and electric was used to impress the neighbors. Though we build them to be 100% electric, gas/electric-style fixtures give you a traditional look while filling your entire room with light.

Tips:
A standard A19 bulb can peek over the top of short gas shades. Use a small, clear globe in the gas-style part of the lamp if you want the light source to disappear into the shade, or a flicker bulb for the gas look.
