The Chicago Collection was born around the same time as electricity. Makes sense, given that the 1883 originals were manufactured by Sigmund Bergmann, Thomas Edison's partner. As Edison worked on his light bulb, Bergmann worked on the means to show it off. Because those early bulbs were so dim, an articulated wall bracket helped bring the light closer to what it lit. While bulbs have gotten much brighter since then, the adjustability of this light is just as useful today.

The shade clips allow the shade to float slightly, which creates a halo of illumination around the socket. The Polished Brass interior of the shade creates a flattering, golden quality of light.

  • Shade clips and shade interior finished in Polished Brass only
  • Turnkey socket
  • Uses 60W max bulb
  • Choose standard incandescent or energy-efficient GU24 sockets
  • Built in the U.S.A. of domestic and imported parts
