Dekum

Streamline Bead-Chain Ceiling Light | Item #A6374

Description

The Dekum is a vernacular Streamline "bead-chain" type fixture that was common from the 1930s through the 1950s. Most every house of that time had some room lit by these sweet and utilitarian lights. With its shallow height, the Dekum is a good choice for rooms with lower ceilings.

Bead-chain lights put the focus on the shade, making them a simple way to illuminate rooms with minimum fussing over matching or clashing styles. Another useful characteristic of these lights is their compatibility with nearly any three-hole bead-chain shade, be it from our shade collection or an antique shop.
