Description

Inspired by one of the most iconic designs of the 20th century, this Tulip chair is perfectly proportioned to compliment your modern home.

Eero Saarenin's 1955 collection of Tulip tables and chairs met many of the design challenges of the day: creating furniture at the new standard of modern design while implementing new materials. The ultimate goal was to create a chair made completely out of a single casting of one material. While the Tulip line did not meet that challenge (it would be Verner Panton's chair made of a single sheet of molded plastic that won the day), the stemmed Tulip chairs and tables persist as masterpieces of the mid century.
