Double-Sided Glass Cat's Eye DRUGS Sign C1900 Item # F1231
Made from sheets of beautifully patinaed zinc, this early-century Drugs sign has so many stunning attributes: the 2" diameter cat's eyes that comprise the glowing letters, the faded lettering and the appliquéd flowers on each corner. One side of the sign features a complete set of cat's eyes and zinc flowers. While the other side (seen in the fourth photo) is missing three cat's eyes and two zinc flowers, the hand-painted lettering a bit more prevalent. Just some of the charm that comes with an authentic, historic piece of signage history!
This sign has been completely restored and is lit with the power of 12 modern light sockets. Plug it in and enjoy the period glow from either side. Hangs from a steel rod that protrudes from the left side of the canister, but can be strung from the eye hooks at the top of the sign.
