Description

When this fireman's helmet was made in the 1950's, its makers, Cairns & Brother, had been producing fire fighting equipment for over 100 years. This particular Cairns & Bros. helmet would have been worn by the fire house Captain and it features a cast metal eagle's head at the crown.

This helmet serves as a moving remembrance of local heroes, and as a unique relic of fire fighting history. A must-have for any collection.
