Description

Originally designed as a fireproof furniture option for Navy ships and submarines, Emeco chairs have become one of the most recognizable products of the 1940's. This set of pristine Emeco side chairs, with original upholstery intact, comes to us from another U.S. government agency: the Department of Agriculture. Each chair has an official government issued sticker on the back, which means that these chairs bring history as well as style to the table. While Emeco debuted the design in 1944, this set is dated from April 1970 according to the manufacture label under the seat. Sold as a set of four.
