Sargent Eastlake Cupboard Latch, Pat. 1871

Item #F6918

Description

Cast iron cupboard latches were a dime a dozen (maybe literally) in the latter half of the 1800s - like this example from Sargent. Though it was produced later, this latch is also marked with the 1871 Sparks patent 111693, for the spring-operated slide action.
