Description

When most folks think of Victorian ornamentation, they think of something along the lines of this fixture. From its (inoperable) gas keys to the details of its arms to the ribbing of its body and stem, this is not a fixture for those of us with ADD. An example of the public's appreciation for artistic and eclectic design - a very "modern" outlook at the time - the large Forest Park commands a room.

Early American homes were lit by gas, and when that newfangled electricity came on to the scene, many folks still had their gas infrastructure, resulting in a mix of the two light sources throughout the home – sometimes even on the same fixture. Our fully electrified reproductions are a happy compromise.

  • Ornamental cast brass details abound on the arms, stem, and body
  • Decorative gas keys
  • 12 hand-applied finishes
  • Solid brass parts
  • Your choice of 4 – 8 lights
  • Designed for 2-1/4” and 4” fitter gas shades

Tips:

Many gas shades are low profile, and standard bulbs can peek out the top of the shade. Consider a small, clear globe bulb, or flame-tip bulb.

Uplights require candelabra-base bulbs.

For a version with only up lights, see the Macleay Park.

For a matching sconce, see the Oregon City.
