Royal Typewriter w/ Original Manual c1940s Item # G0127

The Royal Typewriter is a classic word processor in every way. When Royal started making their handy machines in the early 1900's, their sturdy finger-pounders became the some of the most popular typewriters until IBM hit the scene in the 1960's. This relic of the newspaper hay-day is in wonderful condition, complete with bright details and a well-oiled four-bank keyboard. The ribbon is still in good shape, too, which means that this baby is ripe for writing the next great American novel.

Note that this typewriter comes with its original vinyl cover, imprinted with the name Linville & Danielson, a local Portland-based company that operated during the mid-20th century. This typewriter also comes with its original Royal company manual, so you'll know all the tips and tricks!

  • Historical Style: Mid-Century
  • Condition notes: Wonderful vintage condition in excellent working order. The original ribbon still has plenty of ink!
