Description
The George's loop-to-loop at the socket and cage shade holder are strong industrial touches, turning a small fixture into a big statement.
The charm of industrial design is in its simplicity. Bare sockets and stripped-down parts act as functional ornamentation, resulting in a fixture both timeless and contemporary, appropriate for any space in any home.

Tips:
These fixtures were once common in spaces with no wall switch, and a turnkey socket was a necessity. If you're blessed with a wall switch, leave the turnkey in the "on" position and you can just control your light at the wall.
A loop-to-loop at the canopy means the George will self-vault on an angled ceiling, or gently swing out of the way if touched.
Reproduction light bulbs give off a soft glow, providing mood lighting rather than task lighting.
For a matching sconce, see the Reed, Fords Mill, and Turner.
For a similar fixture with a higher maximum wattage, see the Brightwood.
