Description
The Hewitt is a perfect example of the adage “less is more.” The clean lines of its stem are balanced by the curve of its teardrop shades. With metal stem and shade or rayon cord and glass, the end result works as a slender exclamation point for the design of nooks, kitchens, or dining rooms.
Featured on the cover of the Moe Light Company's 1957 "Inspiration Lighting" catalogue (the same year Sputnik launched), the fixture that inspired this family of lighting was described as "formal dignity with a fancy-free flair. Perforated shades give new-as-tomorrow lighting effect."
More than 50 years later, you'll find that our "new-as-yesterday" reproduction remains fresh, modern, and ready for the future.
