Description
The Jackson Park is one of our more substantial Classical Revival pendants, and it's well-suited to commercial applications. In fact, compact fluorescent versions illuminate the sprawling counters of the service desk in our Portland, Oregon store.
Classic Revival design was meant to mimic the ideals of ancient Greek and Roman architecture. Rather than heaping detail upon detail, Classic Revival fixtures pick an element—be it the curve of an elegant shade holder or an acanthus leaf motif—and emphasize it with a simplicity of design. This focus makes them adaptable to many spaces and contexts.
Notes
- One of our most substantial pendants, built with large-diameter canopy (10in.), large loops (2in.), and our widest-diameter tubing (1in.)
- Solid brass parts
- 12 hand-applied finishes
- Compatible with 6in. shades
- Choose standard incandescent or energy-efficient GU24 sockets
Tips:
The Jackson Park's large canopy can hide any irregularities on your ceiling around your junction box.
For a matching flush fixture, see the Grant Court.
We recommend using a significant shade to complement the burliness of this fixture.
