La Grande

Description

The La Grande is a slipper-shade Art Deco wall bracket manufactured from detailed cast aluminum—just like the original. With such stylized fixtures, it's all about the little touches. While almost identical to its cousin, the Oceanside, the simpler La Grande loses the decorative flourish above the shade.

Deco slipper shade fixtures stepped onto the scene during the Depression. These elaborately cast glass shades and aluminum fixtures were available in hundreds of styles and configurations for every room of the home. The molds for many of these fixtures were melted for scrap during WWII, rendering originals irreplaceable and costly. Our reproductions are an affordable and elegant alternative.
