Lone Rock Bench-Mount Table Lamp

Description

Where once this lamp would have once been bolted directly to a work surface or piece of equipment, we've attached it to a piece of steel, which allows you to move it around as you like (and avoid drilling holes in your furniture). Invented in the early 1900s, the Lone Rock bears witness to the ingenious tinkering of Otis Converse White. He created movable joints that allowed the light to come to the worker. Today, the Lone Rock is just as functional, with its adjustable joints and virtually tip-over-proof base, and makes for one industrial-strength conversation piece.

The O.C. White industrial lamps we offer are the only ones available on the market today that are approved by the O.C. White Company. We partnered with the legendary manufacturer to reissue their designs – which means they craft every arm, joint, and knob in their Massachusetts factory to look and work exactly like the originals. We then assemble, wire, and finish these exclusive lamps in Portland.
