Lone Rock Clamp-On Table Lamp

Description

Originally designed to fasten on to workbenches and machinery, this clamp-on lamp was created by dentist-cum-inventor Otis Converse White in the late 1800s. It features his patented adjustable joints and a telescoping arm, so not only can you attach it to just about anything, you can move it in just about any direction. This makes it easier to see whatever it is you might be working on, just as O.C. White envisioned when he began tinkering with the then-brand new technology of electric lighting.

The O.C. White industrial lamps we offer are the only ones available on the market today that are approved by the O.C. White Company. We partnered with the legendary manufacturer to reissue their designs – which means they craft every arm, joint, and knob in their Massachusetts factory to look and work exactly like the originals. We then assemble, wire, and finish these exclusive lamps in Portland.
