Description

It may have "rock" in its name, but this floor lamp is anything but inflexible. It was created in the early 1900s by Otis Converse White, a dentist who patented the adjustable joints that enable the Lone Rock to stretch and swing and point the light right where it's needed. The decorative lion's paws on the lamp's base – a Victorian flourish if ever there was one – further contribute to the overall impression of movement.

The O.C. White industrial lamps we offer are the only ones available on the market today that are approved by the O.C. White Company. We partnered with the legendary manufacturer to reissue their designs – which means they craft every arm, joint, and knob in their Massachusetts factory to look and work exactly like the originals. We then assemble, wire, and finish these exclusive lamps in Portland.
