Madison Avenue

Description

The Madison Avenue is our largest flush-mount Neoclassical fixture, and is suitable for large rooms with moderate ceiling heights. Its broad, thick cast-glass shade is made from our own original antique shade mold. With its fixed, shorter length, the Madison Avenue shines in medium or large entries, hallways, living rooms, and bedrooms.

Classic Revival design was meant to mimic the ideals of ancient Greek and Roman architecture. Rather than heaping detail upon detail, these fixtures pick an element—be it the curve of an elegant shade holder or an acanthus leaf motif—and emphasize it with a simplicity of design. This focus makes them adaptable to many spaces and contexts.
