We're not sure where this unique set of fixtures originally hung, but we're guessing that pews and collection baskets were common sights below them. Lighting designers of the early Modern era were in heaven designing fresh new takes on ecclesiastical fixtures for the boldly forward-looking churches of their day. These large flush-mount glass cylinders have a red backing behind the subtle crosses at the top and are open on the bottom to allow light to rain down underneath, on saints and sinners alike.
