Description

Proof that "Victorian" can be more than filigree and lace, the bold Eastlake styling of this 2-arm chandelier is almost modern in its confident simplicity. Fixtures from the period between the Neo-Grec trends of the early 1870s and the Aesthetic Movement at the end of the decade are hard to come by, and this one is exceptional. In addition, this is one of the most beautifully patinaed fixtures we've ever had, with traces of gilt over the richly aged red brass.

We've fitted replacement 2-5/8" gas shade holders with beautiful antique cut and etched glass shades of the era. The canopy assembly is also an old replacement for the more simple gas fittings that were likely there before.

To explore the history of Victorian Era fixtures, check out their story on our Blog.
