Description

Tom Greene designed a series striking torch-cut brass and copper lighting fixtures for several lighting companies that had a wide influence and have today become associated with a raw and aggressive style of the late 1960s and early 1970s known as Brutalist. With no identifying marks or labels, we cannot positively attribute this design, but it certainly reflects the look of Greene's distinctive lighting, which has passed through a period of underappreciation to capture the imaginations of a new generation of aficionados of the Mod and Contemporary era.
