Description

For some reason we can't say we've ever heard explained, dogs were a popular motif on fine hardware of the 1870s, including doorknobs, bell pulls, keyhole covers and these classic bin pulls (the Irish Setter seemed to be especially well loved). You don't have to be an aficionado of the Westminster Dog Show to appreciate the appeal of these pulls. Can you identify the breed? Reproductions exist, understandably, of these charming drawer pulls but these are the real things.
