Description

Sargent’s “Alby” pattern was probably the most popular of all the Art Nouveau designs introduced by manufacturers around the turn of the century. Modeled in an elegant and well proportioned way which appealed to a public that wasn’t fully embracing the new Art Nouveau trend, this pattern found its way into a diverse range of homes, including Colonial Revival cottages and Craftsman bungalows, well into the 1920s.
