This more restrained torch-cut chandelier is evocative of the look popularized by Tom Greene in a series striking fixture designs produced for several different lighting companies in the late 1960s and early 1970s. Less aggressively cut, with fewer of the heavy dripping-edge effects found in Greene's fixtures, this variation on the theme by Fredrick Ramond still carries a whiff of the Brutalist aesthetic. This style of lighting has passed through a period of underappreciation to capture the imaginations of a new generation of aficionados of the Mod and Contemporary era.
