Description

Branford Lock Works' "Oriental" pattern was a masterful adaptation of the most popular Aesthetic Movement motifs into a single design, with its distinctive chevrons and bamboo treatments used across a staggering number of different pieces of hardware for a solid 15-20 years. It was even sold in the Sears catalog for a period during the late 1890s. Here we have a pair of sash pulleys in the pattern, cast in iron and copper flashed with black background.
