With looks that were definitely made for the shop or garage - not the house - Sears' line of Craftsman work lights were a bit of a knock-off of the better known line of Fostoria Localites. Made ruggedly of heavy steel and painted postwar gray, these fixtures lit countless home workshop and small factory tasks. This example has the additional charm of a wood handle added to protect against burns when adjusting the position of the light.
