Stamped Brass Oval Pan w/Colonial Motifs, c1925

Item #R1952

Description

Typical of the charming Colonial Revival two-light pans (many of which graced the lower ceilings of bungalows and cottages in the 1920s and 1930s - especially on second floors), this example is styled with simple restrained acanthus motifs. Always intended for use with exposed globe bulbs such as the ones shown here, this light and others like it offered a lot of style and illumination for a minimal investment.
