Colonial Revival Drop-In Floral Bowl Fixture, c1923 Item # R2051
Semi-indirect bowl fixtures (some light diffused down, some light reflected up) were all the rage for dining rooms between 1910 and 1920, after which they slowly faded in popularity as pan fixtures ascended. This example dates to the later part of the style's market run, with charming simplified details and construction. The molded shade with trailing rose vine motif simply drops into the 13" brass ring, and the floral relief has been highlighted with light colored accents.
- Historical Style: Colonial Revival
