Description

Here's a shape we don't see very often. We suspect the top shade is meant to evoke gas lighting, a throwback detail that would make sense for a Colonial Revival design. Both the upright and bowl shades are etched and wheel cut with a lovely tulip and leaf pattern that gives this antique a charm all its own. While not especially large, it would be a beautiful finishing touch for a period-style room. It's grand enough for a parlor or dining room, but just picture it in the right bedroom!
