Uptown Classical Pan Light, c1920s

Item #R2149

Description

This antique brass flush pan light is quite a catch -- its roots are clearly in Classical Revival but it has a bit of Deco/Streamline flair to it. In other words, it's something of a chameleon that will fit comfortably in a wide range of interiors. Most likely used in a bedroom, or small living or dining room (perhaps in an apartment), the fixture includes round globe bulbs that are the appropriate period choice for exposed sockets and provide a soft, warm light.
