4-Light Shower W/Cut Glass Shades, C1920

Item #R2171

Description

First introduced around 1909, shower fixtures - or pans with multiple drops directing light downward - had evolved by the 1920s to become familiarly classic, refined down to their most simple and basic forms. This example has a lovely stamped pan featuring a distinctive motif of daisies (or some other flower - can you tell?). Simple and straightforward, showers take much of their interest from the shades they hold, this one is matched with a set of delicate cut glass shades.
