Cameos have been symbols of remembrance since ancient Greece and Roman times, so it follows that a Classical Revival–style chandelier would remember the cameo. Less classical are the over-the-top metalwork and downward-facing sockets, but that's what makes this one-of-a-kind antique a standout. This fixture also retains its original hand-painted polychrome gilt finish.
