Description

With Mission's typical economy of line, this antique light manages to look simple and spare even while its design details suggest it is anything but. Three lights hanging from a single bar are precisely balanced; loop-to-loops just above the sockets allow each light to hang straight (ideal for ceilings of slightly varying heights). The shades are carnival glass, a pressed or molded glass once known as "poor man's Tiffany" for the way its iridescent surface replicated the shimmer of Tiffany's blown glass. Today, carnival glass is coveted for its own sake–looking at these shades, you can doubtless see why.
