Unusual 3-Light Bay Leaf Pan Fixture w/Beaded Bulb Covers, c1916 Item # R3038
The late 1910s were a transitional period in lighting, with the large, heavy Classical Revival styles of the early decade evolving into the lighter and more delicate Colonial Revival look of the 1920s. This very unusual and striking fixture has the same sort of substantial and quietly assertive character as the classic foursquares and columned Classical Revival homes it likely hung in.
Drawing its strength and personality from the simple juxtaposition of a ring of bay leaves and three acanthus leaf socket husks, we are offering it with optional new amethyst beaded bulb covers for an extra touch of class and distinction. A great fixture for an entry, large stairwell, or bedroom.
- Historical Style: Classical Revival
- Notes: Beaded bulb covers are new.
