Description

The 1920s saw the convergence of two popular trends – the Colonial Revival and the stamped pan light. Combined in countless ways, Colonial pan lights were ubiquitous in all types of houses – from bungalows to foursquares to Dutch Colonials – yet they always felt right at home with their clean lines, restrained detailing, and casually formal character.

This example features a simple pan with leafy husks and floral motifs on the lovely hand-painted shades, and might have hung in an entry, a stairway, a breakfast nook, or a bedroom.
