Description

This striking fixture is one of the earliest that accommodated both gas and electric technology (it's now converted so that both lights are electric). This sconce is paired with a stunning set of ruffled etched glass shades, which boast a delicate floral motif, so popular among late Victorian lighting. The simplicity of the beehive canopy is offset by a few decorative details, most notably the acanthus leaf plaque that adorns the beautifully curving gas arm.
