Description

Very popular during late-1920s and early 1930s, decorative cast-metal fixtures with candle sockets or exposed globe bulbs and rich polychrome finishes like this example were romantically decorative and right at home in the countless English, Colonial, Mediterranean, Norman, and other Historic Revival houses that dotted the automobile suburbs of the era. A petite pendant like this one probably hung in an entryway, powder room, stairwell, hall or other smaller room during its heyday.
