O.C. White's patented adjustable work lights are some of the most desirable industrial fixtures on the market. Based in Worcester, Massachusetts, White's early work in the 1890s was inspired by the need for adjustable joints in fixtures for the dental industry, but his sturdy and incredibly flexible cast iron designs soon became a staple in workshops and on factory floors. Among the company's many dozens of models and configurations, this fine foreman's desk lamp, complete with a handsome wood (or wood composite) base, which served three purposes: a steady base, a helpful pen-holder and a professional name-plate mount.
