First introduced around 1909, shower fixtures - or pans with multiple drops directing light downward - had evolved by the 1920s to become familiarly classic, refined down to their most simple and basic forms. This example has a lovely stamped pan featuring an acanthus motif. Simple and straightforward, showers take much of their interest from the shades they hold. This one sports a set of molded shades that replicate fabric with garlands boldly painted in peach, pink and green tones
