Description

Center-post shades (the glass typically hangs from a center post through a hole in the shade, fixed on by a finial) were popular from around 1935 into the early 1950s. This less common example is a 3-light fixture, which might have been used in bedrooms and hallways. The shades are usually heavy pressed designs with a mix of tinted or etched glass and clear decorative areas.
