Early Eclectic Lighting
The Decorative Arts
Styles: Artistic, Late Victorian, Gas Lighting, Gas & Electric, Neo-Grec
You could call our Early Eclectic collection Victorian lighting, but these styles emerged from a far more progressive time than "Victorian" implies today.
"Artistic" more accurately sums up 1870s to 1920s lighting design, as it reflects a passion for beauty, pattern, and texture.
From grand Gas Style lights like the South Shore to the extraordinary Drake and Rhodes, the era saw stunning trends and eclectically decorated homes.
However, the designs weren't all deluxe. In fact, you'll find many modestly elegant styles here.
